The New Resource dialog allows you to create a new game resource for your project and can be accessed from either the toolbar at the top of each applicable editor or from the Game Explorer toolbar.
To create the resource, select a resource type from the “Type” dropdown, enter a unique name, then click the OK button. The OK button will be disabled if the name is blank or a resource of the same type already exists with the specified name.
When creating a map, the value for Width of Tiles is important as it determines which tiles can be placed into the map and cannot be changed once the map is created. The default value of 16 sets the new map up to allow tiles that are 16×16 voxels in size.
